The EX35 first made its debut in 2007 and was released for sale as a 2008 model year vehicle. The Infiniti EX35 comes equipped with a V6 engine and is based on the same platform as the Infiniti G, M, and FX. This SUV can go from 0 to 60 in 5.8-6.2 seconds. The quarter mile is 14.6 seconds at 98 mph (158 km/h), and top speed is electronically limited to 144 mph (232 km/h). It comes with a 5 speed automatic transmission and it had a minor model update that also changed the nameplate to QX50 in line with the marque's new Q and QX nomenclature, which took place for the 2013 (China) and 2015 (United States) model years, continuing in production until 2017 when it was succeeded by the second-generation QX50.
