The Buick Lucerne is a Full Size Sedan sold by the Buick division of General Motors and named after Lucerne, Switzerland. Up until the creation of the 2nd generation Buick LaCrosse, the Lucerne was Buick's flagship model. Each Buick Lucerne has "Ventiports" on the front fenders corresponding to the engine cylinders, 6 for V6 models and 8 for V8 models. The Buick Lucerne was eventually discontinued in 2011 with no replacement model announced.
