The GMC Acadia, which even I used to pronounce incorrectly as Arcadia like many others who likely do the same, is a full size crossover sport utility SUV from General Motors. The GMC Acadia with the 2016 model year transitioned to a mid-size crossover. The Acadia is built on the GM Lambda platform and is very similar in size and shape to both the Chevy Traverse and Buick Lucerne with basic frame and seating space which allows 7 to 8 passenger third row seating in GM crossovers. The GMC Acadia has a V6 engine and the Acadia also has a standard OnStar system and six different airbags equipped in the vehicle.
