Classified as a compact vehicle, the MINI Cooper Clubman has a starting MSRP of $29,900. The car can get up to 25 MPG (miles per gallon) in the city and up to 35 MPG on the highway. It has a curb weight of 3,235 to 3,450 pounds and has 189 to 301 hp (horsepower). The Clubman is available in two different configurations. These configurations included the S and the John Cooper Works. The car is also considered subcompact due to its small size and it is engineered and manufactured by BMW and sold under the Mini marque. The first generation Clubman was introduced in 2007, as a variant of the Mini Hatch (Hardtop in the US). In 2012, a commercial version of the vehicle was produced called the Clubvan. The second generation was debuted in 2015 and was available with front wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). The use of the name "Clubman" is a departure from Mini tradition. "Clubman" was originally the name given to the 1970s facelift of the classic Mini, which mostly resulted in a squared-off front end, whereas the classic Mini estates had traditionally been named "Traveller" or "Countryman".
