Classified as a pickup truck, the Chevrolet S-10 can get up to 15 MPG (miles per gallon) in the city and up to 19 MPG on the highway. It has a fuel tank capacity of 17 gallons and a towing capacity of 5,200 pounds. The S10 pick up truck has a curb weight of 4,083 pounds and comes equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 4.3 L V6 engine. This compact pickup truck is manufactured by General Motors (GM) and was first produced in North America in 1981. This generation was produced until 2004, while the second generation of the S10 was produced from 1995-2012. In North America, the S-series was replaced by the Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and Isuzu i-Series in 2004. The S-Series ended production in Brazil in 2012, being replaced by the Chevrolet Colorado, but still with the name S-10. The Chevy S10 is currently in its third generation, which began in 2012. Although the North American version of the S-series was discontinued in 2004, the second generation S-10 was still being built in Brazil until 2012, when it was replaced by a Brazilian-built version of the Chevrolet Colorado called the S-10.
