These configurations include the Base, S, GTS, and the Turbo. The five door luxury SUV is produced by the German car manufacturer Porsche since 2014. The SUV is built in Leipzig, Germany and it includes many variants, including the Macan, Macan S, Macan S Diesel, Macan GTS and the Macan Turbo. The luxury SUV shares a platform with the Audi Q5. Originally the Macan was announced as a development project in November of 2010 and it was formally announced by Porsche in March of 2011. The Macan model name was decided in 2012, it is the Japanese word for "tiger." The 2021 version of the Porsche Macan can go from 0 to 60 in 6.3 seconds and has a top track speed of 141 mph.
